NixMen is not sold on Dvago, and here is exactly why
We get asked this several times a week, usually by men who have already searched for us there. Dvago is the largest online pharmacy in Pakistan and a good one — 74,000 people a month look it up by name, and plenty of them go straight to Dvago online delivery for everything else they need. Our product is still not on it, and the decision was ours.

What a retail chain adds to the price
A jar of NixMen leaving our office in Clifton costs you Rs 10,900. To put that same jar on Dvago, it has to pass through a distributor, who takes a margin, and then the pharmacy, which takes its own. A distributor margin, and then a retail margin on top of that one.
Run the arithmetic and the jar lands somewhere near Rs 14,500. We would not be making more money; you would simply be paying two more companies to handle a box that we could have sent you directly. We chose not to build that into the price, and this page is the consequence of that choice.
The second reason, and the one we care about more
Dawn has reported that around 85 per cent of medicines sold in Pakistan are substandard or counterfeit, and DRAP has found that over half of tested samples of some life-saving medicines were fake. Dvago itself carries a warning on its own website telling customers to use only its official domain. This is a real problem in this country and it is not a problem retail shelves solve.
Once a jar leaves our hands into a distribution chain, we can no longer tell you where it has been, what temperature it sat at, or whether the jar with our label on it is the jar we filled. We can put a batch number on the lid. We cannot stand behind what happens to it three warehouses later.
Selling direct means every jar that reaches a customer came out of our own stock with a batch number and an expiry date we can look up while you are on the phone. For a product at this price, that is not a marketing position. It is the only way we can answer the question honestly when a man calls and asks whether what he has is real.

Will NixMen come to Dvago later?
Not as things stand. Retail distribution would add roughly Rs 3,600 to the price and would cost us the ability to trace every jar. Neither trade is one we want to make.
I saw NixMen on a pharmacy site. Is it real?
No. We supply no pharmacy in Pakistan, online or otherwise. Please call +92 21 3527 4816 and tell us where you saw it.
Is buying direct more expensive?
The opposite. Rs 10,900 with free delivery is the manufacturer price. Through a distributor and a pharmacy the same jar would be around Rs 14,500.
How do I know the jar I receive is genuine?
It came out of our own stock in Karachi and it carries a batch number on the lid. Call us with that number and we will tell you the day it was filled.
Do you deliver as fast as Dvago?
Within Karachi, usually next day. To Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Multan, two to three working days. Dvago runs same-day delivery inside the big cities and we do not pretend to match that.
